Air-to-water heat pump: a renovator’s solution for saving energy

Jäspi Basic SPLIT is a renovation builder’s air-to-water heat pump system that reduces the amount of purchased energy and upgrades the heating system to modern times.

A simple and inexpensive system will be installed alongside the existing system. The Basic SPLIT system is suitable for connection to an oil boiler, electric boiler (eg JÄSPI Tehowatti) or energy accumulator (eg JÄSPI OVAL or Akvaterm AKVA). The heating of the house is primarily handled by a heat pump and the other heating system ensures sufficient heat for the heating network if necessary.

The Basic SPLIT package includes an outdoor unit and ground bracket, a control unit (Jäspi MCU) and a Splitbox heat exchanger.

Alongside the bio-oil boiler

A simple and inexpensive system alongside an existing bio-oil boiler. You can save up to 50% on your fuel bill. The heating of the house is primarily handled by a heat pump and the boiler ensures sufficient heat for the heating network if necessary. The hot water in the house is heated by a bio-oil boiler.

Alongside the bio-oil boiler, also hot water production with a heat pump

It is also possible to equip the system with a hot water equipment package, which achieves even greater energy savings. In this case, the domestic hot water is also heated by a heat pump. The Jäspi water heater ensures the sufficiency of hot water. You can save up to 70% on your energy bill.

Alongside the electric boiler

A system alongside an existing electric heating boiler (such as Jäspi Tehowatti and Jäspi Ecowatti). You can save up to 50% on your heating energy bill. The heating of the house is primarily handled by a heat pump and the electric heating boiler ensures sufficient heat for the heating network if necessary. Domestic water is produced by an electric boiler.

Alongside the new energy storage

The Jäspi BASIC Air-to-Water Heat Pump and the Jäspi GTV Hybrid 500 energy accumulator form the heart of a versatile expandable heating system that can be supplemented with, for example, solar collectors, a water fireplace or other biofuel. The heating and hot water of the house is always treated primarily with a heat pump. If necessary, a Jäspi Additional Watt electric boiler or a Jäspi J-Resistor electric heater can be installed as an additional heat source.

Alongside the current energy storage

The air-to-water heat pump can also be connected to an existing energy accumulator. The equipment is well suited alongside the wood boiler-energy accumulator combination to bring ease to wood heating. The greatest saving potential is in sites where the energy storage device is heated by night / day electricity. With an air-to-water heat pump, you can save up to 50% on your heating energy bill.

SPLIT outdoor unit

The heat output of the split outdoor unit is automatically fine-tuned according to weather conditions and heat needs. This keeps the unit’s energy use as efficient as possible. Split outdoor unit produces max. 58 degrees water and operates at its lowest at -20 ° C. The Split outdoor unit circulates refrigerant and is connected to the indoor unit using a Splitbox heat exchanger. A cold installation permit is required for installation. Models 6, 8 and 12 kW.
