Heat pump heating
Heat pumps are modern and energy efficient heating and cooling equipment. Depending on the type of heat pump, heat can be generated either from energy stored in the ground (ground source heat pump) or from the outside air (air-to-water heat pump). It is also possible to implement summer cooling with heat pumps.
The investment cost of a heat pump is often considered to be quite high. However, as energy prices have risen, heat pumps have become more common in recent years as heating systems for both new and refurbished properties. They save the consumption of primary energy (for example electricity or oil) and reduce the need for heating, for example in connection with wood heating.
The operating principle of heat pumps is the same regardless of the pump type. The refrigerant flowing inside the heat pump system absorbs heat energy. With the bound energy, the refrigerant evaporates and its temperature rises. The heart of the heat pump system is the compressor. The compressor raises this vaporized refrigerant to a high temperature, after which the hot gas is delivered via a heat exchanger in water circulating systems for underfloor / radiator heating and domestic water.
Jäspi air-to-water heat pumps
Air-to-water heat pumps transfer energy from the outside air to the water-circulating floor and / or radiator heating of the house and to the domestic hot water. Air-to-water heat pumps are energy-efficient solutions for both new and refurbishment projects. The absolute competitive advantage of air-to-water heat pumps is their investment cost, which is significantly lower than that of a ground source heat pump. The purchase of air-to-water heat pump equipment does not require expensive heat well drilling.
Air-to-water heat pumps are ideal for new projects. The air-to-water heat pump is best suited for new houses with a heated surface area of 100-170 m². In renovation sites, air-to-water heat pumps can completely replace the current form of energy, or it can be connected alongside the current form of energy. In addition, air-to-water heat pumps have a superior trump card over other types of heat pumps: If desired, they can be used to genuinely take care of summer property cooling.
The Jäspi air-to-water heat pump range has the most suitable solution – be it a system solution (Jäspi Tehowatti Air) or a solution (Jäspi Basic) that is installed in the property alongside an existing system.
The delivery content is very comprehensive, which facilitates installation work on site. The high-quality components of the equipment, which is designed for northern conditions, also bring savings with maintenance freedom and are easy to use.
Jämä ground source heat pumps
Ground source heat pumps collect energy from the ground, rock or water. This energy produced by the sun, bound to the ground, water or rock, is pure and free. Choosing a ground source heat pump is an ecological act now and an investment in a clean future.
Ground source heat pumps are particularly suitable for applications where the need for heating energy is high. In the new buildings, they are primarily suitable for detached houses over 160 m², and as centralized systems for terraced houses and apartment buildings. In renovation sites, geothermal pumps are an energy-efficient way to replace the old, energy-intensive form of energy.
Residual ground source heat pumps are equipped with efficient compressors and the best components in the industry. Thanks to these, the heat coefficient (COP) of the ground heat pumps in the Jämä Star product family is up to 5.03 (produces five times more energy than the device consumes). In addition, they are elegantly designed, very quiet in operation and compact in terms of space.
