Water heaters: domestic water heating

In Finland, we are used to taking hot water for granted. It is an inconspicuous part of everyday life, but at the same time a necessary basic need, which we consume on average 60 liters per day. Much of this is spent showering as a shower. Domestic water is heated in Finland in electrically heated detached and terraced houses with a hot water tank (another name for the same thing is a water heater).

As the name implies, the function of a domestic water heater is to heat water and ensure that it is sufficiently ready for everyday consumption. The water heater is a well-insulated tank made of corrosion-resistant material with an electric resistance. Based on the above starting points, a good water heater is high quality and economical.

The most important selection criteria is the right size of the charger and high-quality manufacturing materials

When determining the size of a water heater, the number of users and the amount of water needed are decisive. In other locations, water may be needed only for washing dishes, while elsewhere there is a need to fill the bathtub. It is good to remember that hot water should be sufficient even at the momentary peak consumption. Another important thing in the selection is the location of the accumulator. Smaller VLK accumulators are often installed in cabinets in summer cottages, while in homes VLM accumulators are installed in a modular cabinet row, or in horizontal installation VLS models, for example under sauna benches.

The water heater made of ferritic acid-resistant stainless steel is ideal for Finnish domestic water, which has acidic properties. Therefore, the service life of the water heater is long under normal conditions. The heat loss of the accumulator is minimized by freon-free polyurethane insulation, which is molded around the tank. This is energy efficient and saves electricity.

The JÄSPI water heater made in Finland lasts in Finnish conditions

JÄSPI water heaters manufactured in Finland are suitable for even the most demanding water conditions. All water heater models have undergone an extensive development phase in cooperation with VTT, Inspecta and SGS FIMKO. The best available manufacturing materials and components guarantee the longevity and reliability of JÄSPI water heaters. The extensive collection also includes the right heater for every destination.
