Heating of a detached house
The choice of heating is one of the most important decisions for a builder or renovator of a detached house during construction or renovation.
There are many heating options and there are often several suitable solutions in the selection. That is why it is important that the choice is made reasonably and prudently. Investing in a technical space is worthwhile wherever in the kitchen or bathroom, whether you are a builder of a new detached house or a renovator of an old one.
INITIAL INFORMATION YOU NEED TO CHOOSE THE HEAT FORM OF A DETACHED HOUSE:
New build
- Number of cubic meters to be heated and energy efficiency of the house (normal / low / passive energy house)
- Customer’s budget, how much you are willing to invest in a heating system (as a rule of thumb, the higher the initial investment, the lower the operating costs)
- Will there be a technical space or will it be placed in a utility room, for example, ie can all solutions fit in, or does it already exclude someone?
- The carelessness of the heating solution, ie how much you are willing to invest in maintaining your heating, cf. eg wood heating or heat pump
- Available forms of heating (eg district heating)
